Mission College

is a community college in Santa Clara, California. It is part of the West Valley–Mission Community College District and offers associate’s degrees and certificate programs. The college opened in 1964 as Mission City Junior College and changed its name to Mission College in 1974.

Mission College serves a diverse student population of more than 11,000 students each semester. The majority of our students are from Santa Clara, California County, but we also have students who come from other parts of The Bay Area and even from outside the state.

We offer a wide variety of academic programs that prepare students for transfer to four-year colleges and universities, or for entry into the workforce. We also offer a number of career and technical education programs that can lead to employment in high-demand occupations.
